Grove is closing. The app stops working on 5 October 2026 — before then, you can export everything you've saved.
Grove has been built and run by one small team alongside everything else in our lives, and we've reached the point where we can't give it the attention it needs. We'd rather close it properly, with time for you to take your data with you, than let it quietly stop working one day.
What happens, and when
- Now until 5 October 2026 — Grove works normally. Export your data any time.
- 5 October 2026 — Grove stops working.
- After 5 October 2026 — we delete every account and everything in it.
Export your data before 5 October
Your export is a file containing your contacts, conversations, seedlings, and settings.
- Open the Grove app.
- Tap Settings (gear icon, bottom nav).
- Scroll to Account.
- Tap Export my data.
- Choose where to save the file — Files, Drive, email to yourself, anywhere you like.
Export as many times as you like. Do it before 5 October — once Grove goes offline, we can't retrieve anything for you.
What we delete
After 5 October we delete every account and all of its contents: your profile, contacts, conversations, seedlings, voice-note transcripts, and settings. Backups roll off within 6 hours of deletion. Anonymised aggregate analytics, which contain no personal information and no content from your grove, are deleted along with the systems that hold them.
You don't need to do anything to be deleted. If you'd rather not wait, you can delete your account yourself right now from Settings > Account > Delete Account.

Email hello@findgrove.com and a real person will answer. Please send anything you need before 5 October — we're keeping that inbox open for a while afterwards, but the app and its data will be gone.
